TalkMail User Instructions:


Sending a Voice Email: Press [Record] and start speaking. When you are done, press [Stop]. Enter the recipients email addresses in the To, Cc, or Bcc fields. Fill in the Subject field, and press [Send]. Keep in mind that many people can talk at the same time, and you can use background music, or sound effects.


Playing a Recording: Select a recording from the main pane, and press [Play].


Including Attachements: Select a recorded voice email from the main pane, press the paper clip icon at the bottom right, and attach up to three files. Enter the recipient emails and subject, and press [Send].


Deleting a Recording: Select the recording you want to delete from the main pane, and press [Delete] in your keyboard.


Renaming a Recording: Click twice in the name of the recording you want to change, to make the field editable. Type a new name, and press [Enter].


Pausing a Recording: Press [Pause] while recording. When you are ready to continue recording, press [Resume]. You can pause a recording as many times as you want.


Including Your Photograph: Press [Settings], and [Browse] for your picture, then press [Save and Exit] in the Settings window. You can use *.gif, and *.jpg images. Small file sizes are better.


Importing Email Addresses: Press [Settings], and then press [Address Book]. Then you can paste as many email addresses as you want, in any type of delimitaion format. Save and close the Address Book, and press [Save and Exit] in the Settings window. If you want, you can enter notes in the Address Book, like names, phone numbers, birthdays, or physical addresses.


Sending a Voice Email to All Email Addresses: When you fill-in te To, Cc, or Bcc fields, you can select [Send to All] from the drop-down menu. Then press [Send] at the top to send the voice email to all.


Creating Distribution Lists: Distribution lists should be saved in a *.txt file, within the .../My Documents/TalkMail/Mailing Lists/*.txt location. TalkMail will read all valid email addresses in the list, in any delimitation format, next time it is launched. All mailing lists are displayed within [brackets] in the To, Cc, and Bcc drop-downs alphabetically. Each Windows user can have different distribution lists.


Defining the Body of Voice Emails: Press [Settings], and press [Message Body]. The Body.txt file will be displayed. Paste here any HTML code, and save and close the file. Then press [Save and Exit] in the Settings window.
