Q: How can I run TalkMail in Vista or Windows 7?

A: Install mswinsck.ocx and run TalkMail in Compatibility Mode.

Q: How can I import all my existing email addresses into TalkMail?

A: Export all the email addresses from your current email client into csv format. Make sure you export the emails and nothing else. Then, copy all the emails and paste them into the TalkMail address book as a simple list. You can send a voice email to all the email addresses in your address book, at once, by using the send to all option.

 

Q: How can I fix an MSWINSCK.OCX error?

A: Download and run this fix, which will solve the error message.

 

Q: How can I open my voice email?

A: Open the MP3 file voice email attachment with any media player like Windows Media Plater, Real Player, iTunes, WinAmp or any other. If you use Outlook Express, make sure that "Tools/Options/Security/Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" is not checked.

 

Q: How can I listen to my voice emails in my MP3 player device?

A: Save your voice email attachment to your MP3 player, or iPhone. You can listen to it like any other mp3 file. Voicemails are in .../Program Files/TalkMail/Voicemails/.

 

Q: How can I delete an email address?

A: Open the address book from "Settings" and edit it.
